21 Day Fix by Team Beachbody

Yay!!!! I got my package Monday for my 21 day fix!!! Wahoooo!!!! I was so excited!! I was checking out Pinterest for recipe ideas and meal planning!!! I found a couple sites that were absolutely amazing and so helpful!!! One is beachbodynow!!! She has great resources and is the one that I've been using the most!!! The meal planning is difficult to do since I've never meal planned before!! So it's definitely a challenge for me but something I need to do 😊 The containers are such a great help in learning portion control!!!

The workouts are amazing!!! I felt great after my workout yesterday!! I follow the modifier because of my knee! 😞 I even had to modify one of the workouts because I can't bend my knee or kneel on it either but I kept moving the whole time!!! This morning when I woke up I definitely felt the great workout!! Lol I'm so sore 😝 My butt, thighs, and abs are for sure feeling it this morning!! Lol Thats what I need to get my butt into shape though!! Can't wait for today's workout....here we go upper body!!  Oh yea!!!! 😊 

Oh and since my last weigh in, I am now at 219!!! Wahoo!!!! 7 lbs down!! 😊

Losin' it - health and wellness challenge

Well my mom and I joined the Losin' it - health and wellness challenge for our area! It's a 12 weeks challenge to see which team loses the most weight! Then we go regionally with surrounding towns! I'm excited!! It gives me something to kick me in the butt to start getting healthier and losing weight!! Our team is new beginnings! New start for both of us!

 What I did to kick start my healthy eating and exercising is bought the 21 day fix from beach body which hopefully should be here any day eekkk!!!! I'm excited I can't wait!!! I've started looking on Pinterest for recipe ideas and grocery ideas to get all ready for it! I have found some great blogs that had amazing ideas for 21 day fix! Some day I'll be able to get all that figured out like they did and have it on my blog too to help others 😊 

One if the recipes I tried is the caprese salad! Oh man was it amazing!!!!! I love caprese so much that my hubby hates it now lol 😝 



Doesn't that look amazing!!! Here's how I made it 😊 

Caprese salad

Romaine lettuce 
Grape tomatoes
Fresh mozzerella cut in fours
Fresh basil chopped 
Dribbled with a variation of olive oil and balsamic vinegar 

Mix all together and enjoy! 😊 it was amazing

226...226!!!!!! 😱 how in the heck did I ever let my weight get that high?!?! Is it real?? Is that really my weight?!?! I'm horrified!!!! I can't believe it!!! Today my mom and I joined Losin' It 12 week Health & Wellness Challenge!!! So in 12 weeks I'm gonna get my butt into shape!! It ain't gonna be easy because of knee but damn it I gotta do something!!! So here's to a new start; a new change in my eating habits and exercising!!! What are you doing?? Any suggestions??? I think I'm gonna start doing Chris Powells choose more, lose more carb cycling!! Wish me luck!! I could really use it!!!

New beginnings!

Here's to 2015! Cheers to new beginnings!! Did you make any new year resuloutions?? What were they?? 
For me, my New Years resolutions are: 
Lose weight
Exercise more
Do more fun things with my kids
Date my hubby 
Be a better person
Eating healthier
Using more of pioneer woman's recipes- she's my favorite between her and ms. Kay 😊

So far this year has been so so... It feels like everyone is getting divorced 😞 some for the good; some are like damn what the heck!! I'm trying to be there for those I love going through this very hard time!!

Another thing is hopefully to find our dream home ♥️ One we don't have to do a lot of renovation too (even though I've been watching a lot of property brothers on hgtv and want to try some of their ideas!! I love them they can help me out in my new house 😉) 

I've started doing yoga it's been a week and I absolutely love it!! I found a couple great yoga apps on my iPhone that I have been using!! To help me from munching I have started chewing gum and walk away lol it honestly has been helping my cravings 😜 

I'm now a stay at home mom also! Some babysitter issues came in and well I am now home 😊 which is fine with me because I love being home with my kids ,even though Jazmine is in Kindergarten every day. My hubby got a great job with the laborers Union and he's on the road a lot at least now I can go with when Jazzie doesn't have school especially this summer which I'm excited about 😊 

I've been looking on Pinterest (follow me on Pinterest jessicaj28) for a bunch of ideas to do this year from fitness, healthier recipes, of course desserts too, kiddy ideas, and house ideas! I've been finding so much country themed ideas for my future house!! Oh my wow I can't wait!!! Soo excited!!! I keep my fingers crossed we will be able to get our dream house!! We've been looking around 😉
